Hue city central sights
9:00 am: The guide pick you up at your hotel.
9:30 00 am : Our first visit is the Minh Mang tomb which tomb which offers a balance of beautifuk landscapes and architecture that is unmatched among the tombs in Hue – This tomb was started constructing in 1840 under the order of King Minh Mang. After his death in 1841, King Thieu Tri continued the task, according to his father’s plan. The monument was finally completed 2 years later.
11:00 pm: Visit Khai Dinh Tomb. The tomb’s surface area is much smaller than the tombs of his predecessors. However, the building itself is far more elaborately designed than others of its era, being a mix of architectural of eastern art mixed with western styles.
12:00 pm: Driving back to the city center for lunch at a local restaurant.
We rest a little bit and enjoy a local vietnames lunch.
13:30 pm: We drive to the Citadel, set up by the Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945. This is now among the relics of the Hue ancient Capital and is a part of the world heritage.
3:00 pm: Your car takes you to Thien Mu pagoda, one of the oldest religious structures in Hue with its famous seven floors high, octagonal-shaped tower. Among the many interesting artifacts housed at the complex is the car that the monk Thich Quang Duc took to his self – immolation in 1963 Sai Gon.
4:00 pm: We take a boat for a sight-seeing along the Perfume River back to the city. Hopefully you will not miss the Sunset on the Perfume River. ( 30 minutes by boat)
4:30 pm: Driving from Boat station back to your hotel.
