Hue Demilitarized Zone
6:30 Am: Pick you up at your hotel in Hue, then we drive to Dong Ha Town
12:30 PM: Having lunch at Dong Ha town.
4:00 PM: End The DMZ Tour and back Hue city about 6:00 PM.
What does DMZ mean? DMZ – demilitarized zone. It is the area around the former border between North and South Vietnam. Historically it was a narrow band of terrain extending from the Laos border to the coast, five km on either side of the Ben Hai River, roughly on the 17th parallel north latitude.
Vinh Moc (Vịnh Mốc) is a tunnel complex in Quảng Trị, Vietnam. During the Vietnam War it was strategically located on the border of North Vietnam and South Vietnam. The tunnels were built to shelter people from the intense bombing in Vinh Linh county of Quảng Trị Province in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone.
